Our journey began with personal experiences that shaped our mission.

 

Years ago, when someone in our family became a wheelchair user, we quickly realized how clutter in the home could create barriers to movement and increase everyday safety concerns. That experience opened our eyes to how important a clear, accessible space can be, not simply for comfort, but for being able to move through and use a home with greater ease.

 

Later, we helped an elderly family member transition from a 7-acre property, including the emptying of a 53-foot storage container filled with decades of belongings. It was physically demanding and emotionally overwhelming. More importantly, it showed us how difficult it can be for families to face accumulated belongings when a major life transition requires a space to be cleared.

 

Those experiences became part of the foundation for Roadrunner JunkSmart Solutions.

 

We wanted to create something different from a company that simply arrives, loads everything into a trailer, and drives away. We wanted to provide practical help when people are facing a space that needs to be cleared, whether that means improving accessibility, preparing for a move, clearing a garage, handling an estate, or getting a property ready for its next chapter.

 

We approach each job with care, respect, and clear communication. We don't assume what should go. You decide what stays and what goes, and we'll help with the work of getting it cleared.

 

And when practical, our JunkSmart approach means looking beyond the landfill by sorting items for donation, reuse, recycling, or responsible disposal.

 

Because we know it's never just “junk.” Sometimes, clearing a space is the first step toward whatever comes next.
