Frequently Asked Questions About Junk Removal
Clear answers about our process, pricing, cleanouts, and what to expect.
Getting Started
-
How Does the Junk Removal Process Work?
-
Every job starts with understanding what needs to be cleared. Contact us to arrange a free estimate, and we'll look at the items, the amount of material, and how we can safely access it. You'll receive a firm quote before any work begins. Once approved, we'll handle the removal and finish with a final look at the space.
-
-
Do I Need to Be Present During a Pickup?
-
Not necessarily. If we have clear, safe access to the items and have confirmed the arrangements with you, you may not need to be home. Before service, please make sure we can safely access the agreed-upon items and that anything being removed is clearly identified. If access or the scope of the job differs from what was discussed, we may need to reassess the quote before proceeding.Curbside and contactless options may also be available. When appropriate, we'll provide photos after the work is complete.
-
-
Do I Need to Bag or Box Everything Before You Arrive?
-
No. You don't have to sort, bag or box everything ahead of time. We can handle the lifting and removal from where the items are located. If your items are already boxed or bagged and placed somewhere easily accessible, such as a driveway or curb, a curbside pickup option may be available.
-
Pricing & Scheduling
-
How Is Junk Removal Pricing Determined?
-
We keep our pricing straightforward. Quotes are based primarily on the amount of space your items occupy, with factors such as the type and weight of the material, location and accessibility also considered. You'll receive a firm quote before work begins, so you know the cost before the job starts.
-
-
Do You Offer Discounts?
-
We offer select discounts and pricing options for qualifying customers and circumstances. Contact us to ask about current availability and eligibility.
-
-
What Payment Methods Do You Accept, and When Is Payment Due?
-
Payment is due when the work is completed. We currently accept cash, Cash App and credit cards. Credit card payments are subject to an additional processing fee. We do not currently accept checks.
-
-
Do You Offer Invoicing or Net Terms for Commercial Clients?
-
Invoicing and alternative payment arrangements may be available for qualifying commercial and ongoing service accounts. These arrangements must be discussed and approved before the project begins.
-
What We Can & Cannot Remove
-
Are There Items You Cannot Take?
-
Yes. Not every material is suitable for standard junk removal. Some materials require specialized handling or facilities. We do not accept hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuel, biohazard waste or asbestos. We also do not accept trees, pest-infested items, heavy construction debris, concrete, boulders or heavy drywall. If you're unsure about something, ask us before scheduling. We'll let you know whether it falls within our service.
-
-
Will Your Crew Disconnect Appliances or Equipment?
-
No. Items connected to power, gas, or water must be safely disconnected before we arrive. We do not perform plumbing, electrical, or structural disconnections.
-
-
Do You Tear Down or Remove Sheds, Swing Sets or Above-Ground Pools?
-
We offer light teardown and removal of certain small outdoor structures, including sheds, swing sets and above-ground pools. Because every structure is different, we review these projects before scheduling. Teardown projects are quoted by the scope of the work, not by the hour, so you'll know the cost before the project begins.
-
-
Do You Offer Property Cleanouts?
-
Yes. Property cleanouts are an important part of what we do, from individual rooms and garages to larger residential and rental property clear-outs. We can remove unwanted furniture, household belongings, trash and approved debris from interior and exterior areas. We do not provide landscaping, yard maintenance or deep cleaning. The goal is to leave the space clear and ready for whatever comes next.

Our JunkSmart Approach
-
What Happens to Items After Removal?
-
We don't automatically send everything to the landfill. As part of our JunkSmart approach, we sort items when practical to identify what may be suitable for donation, reuse, recycling, or responsible disposal. The condition, type, and local acceptance options for each item help determine where it can go. While we cannot guarantee that a particular item will be donated or recycled, our goal is to keep usable materials in circulation and reduce unnecessary landfill waste whenever reasonably possible.
-
-
Is Junk Removal Free if My Items Are in Good Condition or Can Be Donated?
-
We don't offer free hauling, even when an item may be reusable or suitable for donation. The removal service itself remains a paid service because it includes the labor, transportation, and disposal involved.
-
-
What Happens if The Scope Of A Job Changes?
-
We provide a firm quote based on the items and conditions discussed before work begins.
