Q: How Does the Junk Removal Process Work?
A: It's simple! Call or text us to schedule a free estimate. Our team will arrive on-site and provide a free quote based on the load size (type of debris, weight, and location of the debris, for example, garage, backyard, 2nd floor). Once the quote is approved by you, the customer, we'll remove your unwanted items quickly and efficiently. After completion, we do a final walk-through to ensure you're satisfied.
Q: Do I Need To Be Present During A Pickup?
A: If we have access to your items, you don't always need to be there. Many clients schedule curbside or contactless junk removal for convenience. We'll confirm everything with photos once the job is done.
Q: Are there any items you cannot take?
A:For safety and environmental reasons, we cannot remove hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, fuel, or biohazard waste, asbestos, trees, pest-infested items. At this time we do not take heavy construction debris, cement/concrete or boulders or heavy drywall.
Q: How do you determine your pricing, and do you offer discounts?
A: We believe in guaranteed up-front pricing with absolutely no hidden fees. Our junk removal quotes are based on your specific load size to keep it simple, however there are factors that may impact the load based pricing, such as, the type of debris, weight of debris, location, and access to the debris (for example, backyard with small walkway or 2nd floor). Q: Do I need to bag or box my items before you arrive?
A: No, you don't have to bag or box anything! Our team is happy to handle all the sorting, bagging, and heavy lifting from wherever the items sit. However, if your items are already bagged, boxed, and placed in your garage, driveway, or at the curb with easy access, you qualify for our Curbside Junk Removal discount, which passes those labor savings directly back to you.
Q: Do you offer property cleanouts, and does that include yard work or deep cleaning?
A: Roadrunner JunkSmart Solutions specializes in full property cleanouts for foreclosures, hoarder homes, estate liquidations, and tenant turnarounds. However, please note that we do not provide yard work, landscaping, or deep cleaning/scrubbing services. Our job is to completely clear out all unwanted furniture, trash, debris, and junk from the interior and exterior of the property (you say what goes and what stays) so that it is empty, decluttered, and 100% ready for your next step, whether that is remodeling, landscaping, or listing it on the market.
Q: Do you tear down and remove old sheds, swing sets, or above-ground pools?
A: Yes! We offer light demolition and removal of small outdoor structures, such as wooden/metal sheds, backyard swing sets, and above-ground pools. Because these projects require specific tools, all tear-downs must be reviewed and approved by our front office first.
Importantly, we never charge by the hour or by the time spent on your property. Instead, we provide a fixed, custom quote based entirely on the scope of the junk removal job. To get a quote, you can text or email us a few photos of the structure, or we can send a team member out to take a look at the tear-down request in person first. You will know the exact cost upfront before any work begins.
Q: Is junk removal free if my items are in good condition or can be donated?
A: We get asked this quite a bit! While we love giving back, we do not offer free hauling services, regardless of the condition of the items.
Through our "JunkSmart" approach, our passion as community members is to protect our beautiful desert environment by sorting, upcycling, and donating what can be saved. However, Roadrunner JunkSmart Solutions is a full-service, licensed junk removal business. We have to cover pay, business license and insurance fees, storage fees, vehicle maintenance, fuel, and local disposal fees to keep running. When you choose our junk removal service, you are paying for the convenience, heavy lifting, and professional labor it takes to safely clear out and transport your items.
Q: What payment methods do you accept, and when is payment due?
A: All payments are due immediately upon completion of our services. For your convenience, we accept Cash, Cash App, and Credit Cards (please note there is an additional processing fee for credit card payments). To maintain secure and efficient business operations, we do not accept check payments.
Q: Do you offer invoicing or net terms for commercial clients?
A: Yes, we do! For our larger corporate vendors, realtors, property managers, and ongoing service agreement accounts, we offer professional invoicing. These billing terms and alternative payment structures must be arranged and approved by our front office prior to the start of the project.
Q: Will your crew disconnect my appliances, electronics, or equipment?
A: No, our crew cannot disconnect any appliances or equipment from utility lines. To protect your property and ensure safety, we are strictly a removal service and do not handle plumbing, electrical, or structural disconnections due to liability regulations.
Before our subcontracted crew arrives, all items must be completely disconnected from power, gas, or water lines, and must not be attached to buildings or structures, or walls in any way. Once the items are safely unhooked, we will gladly handle all the heavy lifting, loading, and hauling!
